The LGI Management Team
The LGI management team, led by Gabor and consisting of 18 experts, specializes in supporting businesses and institutions in securing and managing funding for innovation projects, with a particular focus on European programs such as Horizon Europe. We offer extensive expertise in proposal development, international consortium management, project monitoring, and result exploitation. Utilizing innovative digital tools, our team optimizes project management while integrating sustainability and societal impact considerations, thereby maximizing the chances of success for each initiative.
Job description
The Sustainable Nuclear Energy Technology Platform (SNETP) was established in September 2007 as a R&D&I platform to support and promote the safe, reliable and efficient operation of Generation II, II and IV civil nuclear systems.
Since May 2019, SNETP has been operating as an international non-profit association (INPA) under Belgian law pursuing a networking and scientific goals. It is recognised as a European Technology and Innovation Platform (ETIP) by the European Commission. The international membership base of the platform includes industrial actors, research and development organisations, academia, technical and safety organisations, SMEs as well as non-governmental bodies.
We are recruiting a Project Manager to reinforce our team. The position is composed of two parts:
First, the Project Manager will coordinate the administrative and strategic management of SNETP together with the members of General Secretariat.
Second, the Project Manager will take active part in EU-funded projects supporting the activity of the association.
The variety of assignments for this position requires a multidisciplinary and open-minded profile. This position requires close cooperation with SNETP Secretariat, composed of 10 members as well as the LGI team.
LGI has been managing the SNETP Secretariat since the beginning of the platform.
The candidate will be responsible for the following activities (the list is not exhaustive):
General Secretariat
Advise on the association’s strategy
Interactions with other stakeholders (EU institutions, associations, international organisations, etc.)
Secretary General work (e.g. interactions with SNETP members, Belgian administration, etc.)
Contribution to SNETP position papers
Support to the management of SNETP committees (e.g. international affairs, regulators, innovation, scientific, etc.)
Promote and monitoring of R&D project idea creation
Support and supervise LGI team members in charge of administration & financial issues, event management, communication activities, and IT maintenance.
Interactions with coordinators of the projects labelled by SNETP
Management meetings
Organisation of meetings of the different governance bodies of the association (General Assembly, Governing Board, Working groups, Secretariat, etc.): venue, agenda, participant lists, hybrid meeting management, etc.
Preparation of supporting presentations and meeting minutes
Post-processing of decisions
Events
Association event management (i.e. conferences, workshops, etc.): preparation of the agenda, negotiation with service providers, relation with LGI Communication team for the event promotion, etc.
Horizon Europe projects management
Strategic management of EU-funded projects
Management of interactions with EU officials
Project monitoring, follow-up (actions, deliverables, milestones) and management of contractual obligations (e.g. reportings to the European Commission)
Preparation and post-processing of project meetings
Ad hoc assignments
Management of call for projects
Contribution to the development of R&D proposals and tenders
The job requires regular European travel, in particular to Brussels. Job location: Paris, with possibility of remote work.
Profil recherché
In order to be considered for this position, the applicant must demonstrate all of the following:
Background
Background in political sciences, international relations, communication, innovation management or any other relevant field
General knowledge in low-carbon and nuclear energy.
2-3 years of experience in EU politics / association management.
Previous experience in EU R&D projects or R&D context is a plus.
Personal Skills
Very good level in English and French to communicate with our various partners.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Result-oriented mindset, including the ability to work both at macro and micro levels
Good analytical thinking with an ability to summarise, prioritise and present results
Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset: innovate and work independently.
Ability to prioritize and manage projects in an international and dynamic environment.
Alignment with LGI’s values andculture; an interest in environmental and innovation initiatives is particularly appreciated.

Votre Rôle
La plateforme technologique pour l’énergie nucléaire durable (SNETP) a été créée en septembre 2007 en tant que plateforme de R&D&I pour soutenir et promouvoir l’exploitation sûre, fiable et efficace des systèmes nucléaires civils de génération II, II et IV.
Depuis mai 2019, SNETP fonctionne en tant qu’association internationale sans but lucratif (INPA) de droit belge poursuivant une mise en réseau et des objectifs scientifiques. Elle est reconnue comme une plateforme européenne de technologie et d’innovation (ETIP) par la Commission européenne. La plateforme compte parmi ses membres des acteurs industriels, des organismes de recherche et de développement, des universités, des organismes techniques et de sécurité, des PME ainsi que des organismes non gouvernementaux.
Nous recrutons un chef de projet pour renforcer notre équipe. Le poste est composé de deux parties :
Premièrement, le chef de projet coordonnera la gestion administrative et stratégique de SNETP avec les membres du secrétariat général.
D’autre part, le Chef de projet participera activement aux projets financés par l’Union européenne qui soutiennent l’activité de l’association.
La variété des missions de ce poste requiert un profil pluridisciplinaire et ouvert d’esprit. Ce poste nécessite une étroite collaboration avec le secrétariat de SNETP, composé de 10 membres, ainsi qu’avec l’équipe de LGI.
LGI gère le secrétariat de SNETP depuis le début de la création de la plateforme.
Le candidat sera responsable des activités suivantes (la liste n’est pas exhaustive) :
Secrétariat général
Conseil sur la stratégie de l’association
Interactions avec les autres parties prenantes (institutions européennes, associations, organisations internationales, etc.)
Travail du secrétaire général (par exemple, interactions avec les membres du SNETP, l’administration belge, etc.)
Contribution aux prises de position du SNETP
Soutien à la gestion des comités du SNETP (affaires internationales, régulateurs, innovation, scientifiques, etc.)
Promotion et suivi de la création d’idées de projets R&D
Soutien et supervision des membres de l’équipe LGI en charge des questions administratives et financières, de la gestion des événements, des activités de communication et de la maintenance informatique.
Interactions avec les coordinateurs des projets labellisés par le SNETP
Réunions de gestion
Organisation des réunions des différents organes de gouvernance de l’association (Assemblée générale, Conseil d’administration, Groupes de travail, Secrétariat, etc.) : lieu, ordre du jour, listes de participants, gestion des réunions hybrides, etc.
Préparation des présentations justificatives et des comptes rendus de réunion
Post-traitement des décisions
Événements
Gestion des événements de l’association (i.e. conférences, ateliers, etc.) : préparation de l’agenda, négociation avec les prestataires de services, relation avec l’équipe Communication de LGI pour la promotion de l’événement, etc.
Gestion de projets Horizon Europe
Gestion stratégique de projets financés par l’UE
Gestion des interactions avec la CE
Contrôle et suivi des projets (actions, livrables, jalons) et gestion des obligations contractuelles (par exemple, rapports à la Commission européenne).
Préparation et post-traitement des réunions de projet
Missions ad hoc
Gestion d’appels à projets
Contribution à l’élaboration de propositions de R&D et d’appels d’offres.
Le poste nécessite des déplacements réguliers en Europe, notamment à Bruxelles. Lieu de travail : Paris, avec possibilité de télétravail.
Profil recherché
Afin d’être considéré pour ce poste, le candidat doit démontrer tous les éléments suivants :
Formation
Formation en sciences politiques, relations internationales, communication, gestion de l’innovation ou tout autre domaine pertinent.
Connaissance générale de l’énergie à faible émission de carbone et de l’énergie nucléaire.
2 à 3 ans d’expérience en politique européenne / gestion d’association.
Une expérience préalable dans des projets de R&D de l’UE ou dans un contexte de R&D est un plus.
Compétences personnelles
Un très bon niveau en Anglais et en Français pour pouvoir échanger avec nos différents partenaires
Esprit proactif et entrepreneurial : innover et travailler de manière autonome
Aptitude à prioriser et gérer des projets dans un environnement international et dynamique
Alignement avec les valeurs et laculturede LGI, un intérêt dans les initiatives environnementales et d’innovation est particulièrement apprécié
