I remember finding this bad and pandering even as an idiot eight-year-old

For some reason the subtitles kept changing "guys" to "gays" and that's pretty much the only enjoyment I got out of this.

Steal the title of a somewhat know film to make another one. Now sell it as a prequel and expect the easy money.
This is what this film offers and the truth is that the word disappointing falls short to describe it. -

Well, that was different.
Now it’s like the other dog movies.

Or: praise the translator for Marley & Me: The Puppy Years -
The dog talking in this made his death in Marley & Me seem like a happy ending.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
THEY BROUGHT MARLEY BACK FROM THE DEAD. THATS IT IM QUITING CINEMA AND AM NOW GOING TO LIVE IN A SMALL HOUSE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. (AKA Detroit).

Awful direct-to-video prequel from 2011. The original movie is better.

I was tricked into watching this. It has the special distinction of being, without a doubt, the worst movie I’ve ever seen. I remember nothing but a bad taste in my mouth.
